Magnolias

I went with my fellow student last time to shoot a few photos. The time was just right to see the magnolias blooming (not too many of them, but still beautiful), so we visited botanic garden near the town. We spent some nice time near the nature. Unfortunately, the weather was awful, so I was running around with a coat and scarf in between the shots. And after two hours it started raining, so we couldn't stay anymore. But it was fun after all.
Anyway, I'm just starting exams in a few days. I might distract myself from a stress with taking some more photos... oh, so many plans!

Tragedy of Hamlet

Enjoying the last moments of freedom now... the upcoming week will hit me with a test and final date of finishing e-learning. I have a lot of vacation plans already, though. Just as usual, I tend to focus more on my plans and dreams than on present.

shirt: Leable / leggings: allegro.pl / sweater: from Italy / hat: H&M / shoes: Stonefly/ necklace: Marufaktura

My outfit today is shot at the beautiful location close to my fiance's home. My favorite cloting piece here are the leggings - they might be the best ones I've ever seen. Once I saw them, I just squeed a little. I just had to have them. And now I do! They are filled with Shakespeare's Hamlet text, how awesome is that? I only regret a little I see it upside down from my perspective, if I didn't, I would read my clothes like a book when I am bored at the bus, for example.

I've just recalled last time this band when I was browsing my high school music list... Their ethereal climate gives me a calming feeling. I find the mix of folk music with dark electronic sounds very interesting. This song has actually the other, more electronic version, but this version just speaks to me more.

Sometimes you have to do something bad to avoid doing something worse...

What I'm wearing today seems to be an unusual choice. But I can't help it, I love this dress in it's all flowing glory! It's especially great for sunny days like today. All I need now is a fancy victorian hat and I'm ready for afternoon tea at the park.

Dress: CC fashion / shoes: Deichmann / skeleton hand: Glovestar

The dress also reminded me of an interesting movie, since I thought immediately that the main character would probably wear it.

The movie ,,Stoker" is an interesting thriller. Quite usual story - the unknown family member arrives and changes the home residents' lives. But what is truly important, the movie is built on a specific, dark 50' climate with a greyish green and brown palette. The individual frames make beautiful mysterious paintings. Also a lot of symbols appear here, from flashbacks of main character's hunting with father, through playing piano, to spiders and shoes. Everything has it's meaning and, as the story goes forward, slowly reveal psychology of rather ,,weird" and a bit disturbing mind of this girl.

If you are not familiar with the movie yet, I highly recommend seeing it. It's worth at least for the artistic pleasure and chills you can get from discovering the mysteries.

Mysterious Castle

May I present you my new work, a mystic castle. It took me a few hours to do, using ink and watercolor paint. I created a crooked mansion that a cartoon villain would live in, surrounded with hills and dead trees in the moonlight. I like the final outcome, do you?

The magic is ours

Ah, the sweet long weekend. Long sleep, sitting alone in artistic mess painting, enjoying the long walks. It could last and last. One of these days were especially charming - renewing old relations by playing the Horror in Arkham brought great memories. The game itself was pretty fun, too! I can only hope now the joy won't pass too quickly.

Dress: Boohoo.com / jacket: B.young / hat: H&M / necklace: DIY / shoes: Vagabond / bracelet: from Greece

The hat is my last finding, I've just bought it yesterday in H&M in city centre as a kind of birhtday gift and it's just the perfect one I wanted. But, to be honest, it's from Divided collection, so no suprise I like it. I would gladly adopt almost all of its stuff.

How was your weekend?
