I've just finished my exams. I will have last, third stage of exam this week if I will pass, but still don't feel like posting photos on blog. So I wanted to share my tattoo inspirations instead.
I was thinking about getting a tattoo for some time. The only struggle is I can draw, so I would definitely design it myself. But there are so many cool ideas for design that I don't know what I would choose. There are things I thought would be pretty a year ago, but now I don't like them. I know only I would want something in black and white, not too big, in graphic style.

You seem to have an attraction to the ornamental and abstract/geometric designs. If you're good at drawing that kind of stuff I have to commend you, it's hard work, but if you're not good at it I advise you take your ideas to a professional tattoo artist. I was fairly confident in my artistic abilities and I drew my brother's tattoo, I've regretted it ever since. My skills have developed immensely since that time, now his tattoo is an everlasting reminder of the poor art I used to make. I wish the tattoo artist would have had enough courage to say no and give my brother something better.
ReplyDeleteThat's something I would be afraid of too, that my skills will improve and I won't like my old artwork anymore because I will see mistakes in it. I asked tattoo artist lately and he said it's best to make design together with tattoist
Deletewell i hope you will make the right decision for your tattoo, for the actual picture AND artist. i did a wrong artist choice twice (even though i did my researches before)but still somehow manage to like both pieces :-)
