She is The Night

☽ Heed the call the time has come for all you children of the night ☽

Today's look is meant to make me resemble a girl that could wander by the moonlight. Last time I bought this shimmery nail top coat from Sensique and it shines in every possible color in strong light. It would look like a galaxy on some black or navy base

Queen of Hearts

Top: Source of Life
Skirt: from my mum's shop (made in Italy)
Cardigan: from my mum's shop (made in Italy)
Necklace: from my mum's shop (made in Italy)
Shoes: Vagabond

Simple outfit today. I had tough test from art history, so I worn big heart necklace to cheer myself up a little. I don't know if it worked, but test went better than expected.

I also have on my new lipstick from Mac (sin) and It's lovely. It just gives my lips that perfect dark red shade, so I don't have to mix bright red lipstick with dark eyeshadow, as I used to do. It also lasts long!

Conversio.

Today I went to an IAMX concert. I was very happy to finally see them in my home town. I only have dicovered the band a year ago and it quickly became one of my favourites. Needles to say they were great tonight. My makeup is (obviously) inspired by Chris Corner for this occasion!

This fishnet star cape is cute, I recently found it in a second hand shop. I think the holes just add to the style!

T-shirt: House
Skirt: Atmosphere
Tights: Calzedonia

Brightness

Last week i spent with hard work, lots of cuddling and embracing the changing nature. I try not to think about shortening days and lack of energy, but I let the autumn inspire me. I went to the forest this weekend to have a walk in late evening. I saw plenty of moths shining in the moonlight and somehow it was a really beautiful and calming picture.

I also found some time to be with closest people. Went to eat sushi and see the movie Crimson Peak with my boyfriend today. It was a lovely meeting. I try to focus on myself now and find the comfort as I see my nerves getting tense. I might take my university chores a bit too serious and I panic when I don't have enough time to do something. I try to change that. I have to remember that some more sleep may be beneficial!

Halloween Fun

Today I thought it was a great occasion to dress up and go to my favourite cafeteria with my boyfriend. We had a lot of fun together! We also saw a few dressed up people too, even the cafe owner had skull makeup and also black leggings with skulls. That was really nice.

This is my attempt for Sugar Skull makeup. I think it came out nice, considering the fact I did something like this for a first time and only with drugstore cosmetics (excluding the white base).

I also did makeup for my boyfriend. It was a more realistic skull, so it matched mine!

Just a regular day, eating eyeballs as usual.

All the photos without my boyfriend are took by him and edited by me.

Hope you have a great day. I wish you the most spooky and fun Halloween!

Poisoned Poetry

I have very little time lately because of school beggining. I'm attending a university on art faculty. I have a lot of work and I come home lately but I enjoy my lectures so far. I'm especially thrilled for linocut. We just started it and it's so much fun!

This week is going to be exciting, I go to hairdresser with my boyfriend and can't wait to see his new hairstyle. Also, Halloween! I have an idea for a costume and it's going to be the best I've had so far.

 Today I'm a witchy doll.

Necklace: gift from a friend
dress: Lindex
Shoes: Vagabond

Also I went to Kamelot concert a few weeks ago and it was so amazing I already miss it. I don't listen to much metal music nowadays, but this band is one of my favourites ever. I just love the dark atmosphere of their music videos, lyrics and emotional vocals. Also, I may have a little crush on their new vocalist. He is not only good-looking singer of two great bands, but he is also full-time firefighter.

This song is quite fast but the music video is probably my favourite.

Halloween tag

I've been tagged by The Mutant Stomp Friends, which is a great inspirational blog written by a lovely girl. I'm very excited since i love answering questions, and Halloween theme is definetely something i enjoy. Let's get to the questions!
Source: http://h-a-l-l-o-w-e-e-n.tumblr.com
1. Favorite Halloween song?

That's easy, ,,This is Halloween". It always come to my mind when I think about this holiday. I also love the version of Nick Pitera which I've posted a year ago.

2. Witch or vampire?

Vampire. I am one.

3. Favorite thing about Halloween?

I absolutely love dressing up. The best thing in Halloween for me is being able to change the look completely and walk on the streets feeling like a mythical creature.

4. Halloween party or scary movie marathon?

I'm not a party person, so I would choose marathon. Or a little bit of both: small party with closest friends and watching movies.

5. Skeletons or zombies?

Skeletons! Mostly because I'm fascinated with human anatomy in general.

6. Favorite Halloween candy?

I don't really know since I've never done ,,trick or treat" thing. So I will count bat cupcakes from my favorite cafe as a candy.

7. Favorite Haloween movie?

I can't pick one. Though I really like watching an classical horrors, so I would say Dracula or Frankenstein.

8. Favorite Halloween costume?

Anything that is spooky instead of pop-culture. I'm basically a vampire every year. I was victorian one lately. Though I will be something different this year, it's going to be really nice...

9. Favorite Halloween store?

Don't understand the question, in Poland there is no Halloween stores. But last few years Halloween collections are getting popular. I saw the best one so far in Claire's, they had plenty of wigs, hats and halloween-themed jewellery. So nice!

10. Jack-o-lanterns, yes or no?

Definetely yes! It's a form of art. Too bad I'm not personally good at carving, but maybe someday I'll try it.

11. Bats or black cats?

Bats! They are cute little fluffy flying demons.

12. Is Halloween your favorite holiday?

Yes, It's the most fun one! Though I love all holidays!

13. Pumpkin spice latte or hot chocolate?

Haven't tried pumpkin latte yet since I rarely drink coffe. So hot chocolate.

I tag:

I would love to see your answers in this tag guys!

New room decor

As you may remember, I mentioned my room is going under complete renovation. I can finally say it's over. I am not going to post old look of the room since it wouldn't make sense. It's been changed so much that it looks like entirely diffent place. There is literally no old thing left. Even floor and walls are new. I am delighted by the final result. Let me show you!

First, new wall decoration. Drawings are mine, they were inspired by victorian illustration. They are put in Ikea frames that are also new.

The clock is absolutely one of the most beautiful clock I've ever seen. It also has a canvas texture which looks amazing in real life!

This is my favourite part of room. I think this Ikea mirror looks great near my new metal bed and velvet pillows!

I also finally have Monster High dolls. They are soo cute. Just look at Draculaura's wings!

I drew also that victorian lady and raven. On the left there are hooks for jewellery that turned out to be very practical.

I got also a few matching plastic boxes in which i keep mainly perfume and sunglasses. (Oh, by the way, I think you MAYBE, only maybe already know what my favourite color is...)

My dad also put a hook in the shelf so I can display my pretty Ikea lantern.

Now the best thing about it: all the furnitures except the bed are repainted. Even the black shelves. I personally painted everything with my dad. They were all ugly orange-ish brown before. We saved a lot of money that way.
I have also new floor, it's gorgeous pinkish-brownish light gray color. And a matching fluffy carpet, which is pretty comfortable since I hate wearing something on my feet at home, hehe.

I could write also about new desk, blinds and chair, but I think I managed to mention all the major changes without writing a whole essay. What do you think about my fairytale room?

Thursday 24 September 2015

I can tell you, you are not evil.

It's autumn already. Can't believe how fast time flies.
I am enjoying my free before-university time now. It means playing games, watching films and drawing, of course. I've created 2 new pieces and I'm working on the third one. All of them are in victorian climate. It'll be my little collection soon~

Can't wait to finish this lady and hang her on the wall.

I've also watched a few films, weirdly only Disney.
Enchanted, Sleeping Beauty and Descendants. I'm going to say a little more about the last one since I don't really watch Disney Channel original movies. They are usually pretty boring to me. But this one was good.

What's this film about? It's the story of children of the worst villains, who was sent to unescapeable island. The son of Beauty and The Beast, soon to be king, decided to give them a chance. He invited kids to a royal academy.

I liked Mal most. She was a nice combination of mean rebel and secretly sensitive girl. I also liked how her realation with mother was shown. Maleficent was just perfect anyway as a completely evil woman!

I also enjoyed the rest of characters, especially Evil queen. The idea of her soon getting old, desperately trying to stay ,,The fairest of them all" was great.

Do you like Disney? How do you feel about Descendants?
