New room decor

As you may remember, I mentioned my room is going under complete renovation. I can finally say it's over. I am not going to post old look of the room since it wouldn't make sense. It's been changed so much that it looks like entirely diffent place. There is literally no old thing left. Even floor and walls are new. I am delighted by the final result. Let me show you!

First, new wall decoration. Drawings are mine, they were inspired by victorian illustration. They are put in Ikea frames that are also new.

The clock is absolutely one of the most beautiful clock I've ever seen. It also has a canvas texture which looks amazing in real life!

This is my favourite part of room. I think this Ikea mirror looks great near my new metal bed and velvet pillows!

I also finally have Monster High dolls. They are soo cute. Just look at Draculaura's wings!

I drew also that victorian lady and raven. On the left there are hooks for jewellery that turned out to be very practical.

I got also a few matching plastic boxes in which i keep mainly perfume and sunglasses. (Oh, by the way, I think you MAYBE, only maybe already know what my favourite color is...)

My dad also put a hook in the shelf so I can display my pretty Ikea lantern.

Now the best thing about it: all the furnitures except the bed are repainted. Even the black shelves. I personally painted everything with my dad. They were all ugly orange-ish brown before. We saved a lot of money that way.
I have also new floor, it's gorgeous pinkish-brownish light gray color. And a matching fluffy carpet, which is pretty comfortable since I hate wearing something on my feet at home, hehe.

I could write also about new desk, blinds and chair, but I think I managed to mention all the major changes without writing a whole essay. What do you think about my fairytale room?

I can tell you, you are not evil.

It's autumn already. Can't believe how fast time flies.
I am enjoying my free before-university time now. It means playing games, watching films and drawing, of course. I've created 2 new pieces and I'm working on the third one. All of them are in victorian climate. It'll be my little collection soon~

Can't wait to finish this lady and hang her on the wall.

I've also watched a few films, weirdly only Disney.
Enchanted, Sleeping Beauty and Descendants. I'm going to say a little more about the last one since I don't really watch Disney Channel original movies. They are usually pretty boring to me. But this one was good.

What's this film about? It's the story of children of the worst villains, who was sent to unescapeable island. The son of Beauty and The Beast, soon to be king, decided to give them a chance. He invited kids to a royal academy.

I liked Mal most. She was a nice combination of mean rebel and secretly sensitive girl. I also liked how her realation with mother was shown. Maleficent was just perfect anyway as a completely evil woman!

I also enjoyed the rest of characters, especially Evil queen. The idea of her soon getting old, desperately trying to stay ,,The fairest of them all" was great.

Do you like Disney? How do you feel about Descendants?

Ballade of a lace

I've been looking in the mirror and disliked it. I must say my hair looked really bad, with uneven colour and grown roots. I eventually decided to bleach the whole thing and apply toner again and I'm pleased with the result. I finally have pretty purple. Well, hair is not in great condition, even after trim, but I'll treat them good and it will be lovelier.
Yesterday was crazy, I was in a museum with my friends to see the new exibition of a famous painter and later I went to my classes. In a middle of day I was catched by hail. It appeared so suddenly that I thought for a second it might be styrofoam?!

Outfit I was wearing yesterday. Shoes from Jenny Fairy, blouse from Lucy Paris. I was lucky to find this blouse. It has a beautiful lace back and frilly sleeves.

Details of my cameo necklace (and doll-like lips)
I am looking forward tomorrow's lecture about art of tattoo design. I am sure it will be informative.
Song of the day:

I must admit I am inspired by this band so much lately... And this song is stuck in my head.

Convention of Monsters

Welcome all the banes! As I said before, I was on Hellcon on 25th day of October. It's time to sum up this event. Starting from the beginning, convention started at 11.00. I was there like 10 minutes before. There were abour 100 people in the queue I think, but I had to wait more than an hour... But why must have been sooo cold right then?? I freezed. My boyfriend arrived almost 2 hours later. I did scary makeup to him, too. We were fabulous, classy vampires hanging around, hehe. I would like to say my opinion about what was nice on Hellcon:

+Discussion panel about Tim Burton. Well, I love him, no suprise. We just talked about why his films are so great.
+Discussion panels about comics: about polish comic Incognito (with autors) - they have a lot of knowledge, about gothic horror elements in comics - interesting presentation, and ,,How to make and publish your own comic" - interesting facts about process of making a comic.
+Quite tasty sushi from a bar...
+Panel about using music in Roleplay games. Stimulated imagination.
+Panel about book series Nekroscope. This book is SICK! But I still want to read it.
+Panel about polish manga/fantasy drawers. Informative and inspirational.

What, sadly, wasn't pleasing...

-Cosplay... I mean, seriously? 7 cosplays?? There were always around 20... dissapointing.
-I thought that on victorian themed convention would be a lot of beautiful jewellery. Well, I bought only one necklace. Tiny minus.
-Theme costumes contest. They made us dance to the shitty music. The person who was dancing the most won. I came there to show my costume, NOT my moves!

So... hellcon was rather pleasing than not. I am glad I was there. I've met a lot of old friends and had fun.
Aren't we pretty vampires?? Especially my P.

My song of the day. I love Voltaire's voice. I'm waiting for him to come to Poland.

Time is old like victorian times

Good afternoon, ladies and men. I would like to show you something that is a part of my Halloween preparations. I'm going to Hellcon convention in Warsaw on 25th october. This year it's in victorian horror theme, so I HAD to be there! I'm going to wear something that suits theme nicely. This is the preview:

I bought these beautiful earrings today. They caught my eye immetiately. I've wanted ones like that, with black jewel, for a long long time. I'm so glad I've found them, they are perfect for this occasion.

After convention I'll show you more photos. I'm considering doing makeup tutorial for this look. I have also two more ideas for Halloween themed looks.. I may start upoloading videos on youtube, I believe it would be very exciting thing to do!
