Where I've been?

So, I was gone for quite long.

After the last post I found I don't have anymore inspiration for posts. I had hard time to define myself, which was linked to being in halfway of my degree and not being sure what I want to do after university. I experimented with hair colors during that time and I separated myself a bit from social media other than my art accounts. This focus allowed me to think of what I really want.

I'm not really sure about blogging anymore. For now I changed my names on most social media and I got an instagram account, which I think, I will be using quite often. If  you like, you can follow me here:

That's all for now, I might write an update in the future but for now I'll stick to other social media. We will see where my path goes...

October

Hi guys! I am here to do a quick update. I've returned from vacation two weeks ago and started my seond year of university. I'm glad I had a chance to rest because my school hours went crazy this semester. Besides that I'm not doing much lately besides planning to make home bubble tea. I love this drink and unfortunately, the only one close to where I live closed a long time ago. In the rest of chain shops prices raised, so I figured out I could try to make my own and save some money.
Also, planning my Halloween outfit, because it's OCTOBER! I've seen an event that seems pretty nice for this occasion, not just a regular club party. I'm not that much into drinking alcohol and I eventually get bored. We'll see how it will be.

On the other news, I am taking part in Inktober initiative for the first time. Follow one of my art accounts to see me trying to use ink~

Comfort

Hello!
Last time I've been exploiting my poor little graphic tablet, playing games and helping in a shop. I am not going out a lot since weather is super hot now where I live. Sitting in home, I tried to experiment with my hair, resulting in this blue. I can't decide if it suits me however, so don't be suprised if I will chance my color often in future! I might still dye my hair black again when I'm bored with toners.

Today's outfit is inspired by these lovely pants I forgot I have, hence a bit boy-ish look. I'm into gray a lot lately, and this is very practical in summer.

Tunic is from Miss Pink / pants are thrifted / hat is from H&M / bag is made by me / shoes are from UK

I also have a little herbs garden now on my balcony. Here you can see fresh basil leaves. I got mint from my grandma and I'm suprised how little effort it needs. I will surely have my balcony or garden covered in plants in future.

Birthday

Hi boys and girls. Seems like I haven;t been there for too long. I have lost my interest in blogging in the last month. Being so busy lately and having very little things planned in advance I might post not so regularly. I'm working currently on improving my skills for apprenticeship opportunity soon, so I don't want to sacrifice my time for taking photos for the sake of blogging vanity :) I will keep posting when I feel like doing so, I think.

Last week I celebrated my birthday with my family and friends. I made a huge load of chocolate cookies for this occasion. They were good, but I've had too much of them so I won't touch any chocolate for some time.
It was a good year for me. I don't think I've changed much. I'm curious what the next year of my live is going to bring to me.

In this town of Halloween

For this day, I went with my love to the cafe. The place was very cool, with spiderwebs everywhere, Jack Skellington statue at the bar and staff in costumes. I also likes the music playing, mainly from films, and I even heard The Cure's Lullaby. We haven't spent too much time here, only enough to order a drink, play a board game and take part in Tim Burton quiz. Too bad I didn't win the quiz, I guess I didn't watch some of the films carefully enough!

I went as spider queen and my love was my undead servant :D

Fate

You may see something changed here...
Last time I looked in the mirror and saw my roots of natural hair are showing. And I realized they were very dark... and it didn't even look bad. I thought then, why not dye my hair black? So I finally stopped this long time of being afraid of quite permanent nature of black dyes and gave it a try. I think it looks good and I have a feeling this color is about to stay for a long time on my head. And I kind of fulfilled my childhood dream, since I wanted very much to have either red or black hair when I was in preschool! Younger me would be proud.

Today I put on my bat sleeve shirt and went to thift shops to hunt. I got a shirt and a dress, so mission ended with success. I have to go back to painting now, as I have seven more works to do till the academic year.

Calabria

Excuse me for my absence on this blog. I have just returned from a holiday travel with lots of good memories I want to share with you (with huge load of pics). I got the chance to see a south Italian region with my parents. I am satisfied with pretty cities and amazing nature I saw. I will remember this for long, I am sure.

Our first trip was to see the city of Tropea, the wonderful XVII century town situated on a cliff. It's filled with old palaces and restaurants hidden in small alleys. The church placed on an elevation near the coast is most characteristic point. The local red onions are sold everywhere. What is interesting, the city was bombed during the WWII, but all the 6 bombs remain unexploded. Sill, it's always shocking to me how people would want to destroy such beautiful places.

There was an Alice in Wonderland restaurant in a town. Of course I had to take some photos and eat there. Look at those clocks! So cute!

Another town we saw is Pizzo. Not as big as Tropea, it still has some secrets. the builing below is where Joachim Murat, the Napoleon's brother-in-law, was imprisoned and executed.

What are liked the most was Piedigrotta - a chapel build inside the cave near the coast. The sculptures located in such an unusual area are stunning.

The last trip was to Stromboli island - this time on ship. We were here from afternoon to night. The island is basically the one big (almost 1 km high) volcano which is active all the time - the eruptions take place every 10-12 minutes! Unfortunately, we didn't see the eruption, but laying on the ship at night and watching stars is an amazing feeling to compensate. The island also contains beaches with black sand and many, many lovely shops.

I loved the Calabria all together and I definetely hope to return here someday.

What haunts my mind...

I wanted to show you my latest interests and inspirations. There are actually many, here are a few of them:

💗 Alice Madness Returns

I wanted to play this game for so long. And finally, when I last time cheked it up, it was on a sale for only 2.50 €, so I couldn't resist! It has quickly won my everything-Alice-loving heart. The combination of fairytale landscapes, fun mini-games and killing unholy spawns of abyss is something I'm fond of. Though I was suprised how dark this game is, comparing any other vision of wonderland I've seen seems like a child's playground. I'm currently in about a half of a story and can't wait too see how it ends!

💗 Nyx Cosmetics

Last time the first Nyx salon in my town opened so I came to see it. There were many beautiful lipsticks. The shade Copenhagen was especially tempting, so I gave it a try. I was worried about the liquid formula, as I've never used it yet, but with lip liner applying it is't that hard. What is fun, it can look different if you put another coat of product - on the photo I have just one so it's not that dark. To the most important point: lipstick lasts very long once it's dried. And also, the smell is wonderful.

💗  Nick Cave

Okay, it's not that recent, but I re-discovered his music. What else can I say, I just love the feeling of his songs. Mr. Cave's soothing voice was my companion on many, many evenings. Here are my personal favorites:
