Flower crown

Hi guys! Feeling the spring I got inspired and decided to try making my own rose crown. I used a ribbon to make those little fake roses and attached them to a headband with jewellery glue. Since I've never done something like this before, it doesn't look very realistic. Trust me, it just looks good on the photos ;) Anyway it's enough for me and I can't wait to wear it in public.

 Inspired by cold, unfriendly light of this day I wanted to take some photos matching the amosphere. Almost seems like evening was there all the time, even if days are becoming significantly longer. Hard to stay awake for me since I do everything but sleep at night. Yesterday I tried to do some sketches and again didn't like it. Abstract theme for one of the school's subjects seems to give me nightmares already. Certainly not my favourite theme to do.

Meanwhile I'm listening to some dark melancholy music as a background for daily activities, or lack of them. I'm especially into dark ambient and neoclassical stuff last time. They have some beauty to them that makes you forget about real world.

Braid and a long skirt

The days fly so fast right now. As I got involved in everyday acitivities, the time suddenly dissappeared. I'm trying to work more than in previous semester, especially that I'm pretty excited to learn subjects we've been introduced to last week. I'm also about to give a few presentations which I'm liking less.

Yesterday the weather was so nice, it reminded me of spring coming closer. It's been so warm I had to take off my coat. Now as I'm writing it the heavy sky dissappoints with its sad grayscale, unfortunately. I cannot wait to be able to go skating when it's warm. I also have loose plans about riding a bike often instead of taking a bus. We will see how it goes.

The outfit I'm wearing today is one of my favourites last time. I tend to choose the same accessories everytime since I think some bright purple details suits this kind of looks. The skirt I'm wearing is from  Italy and the necklace is from Claire's. The ring was a gift from my grandma.

I got new shoes last time from Allegro.pl. I'm happy to finally find platform boots which are not too high. They also have suede lace which is a cool detail, Now that I have quite a collection of clothes, I promise myself not to buy any for some time. In fact, I'm planning to clean my closet a bit and sell a few pieces.

The Last Thursday

I have a last few days of  rest before the university starts. The new schedule is already up on my school profile and it seems I won't have any spare time at all. I hope I can carry on with blogging though.

Today is a holiday called The Fat Thursday in Poland. Traditionally everyone buys, or sometimes prepares, a lot of ,,Pączki", a polish deep-fried pastry similar to donut, and consumes as much as they like. A holiday based on eating - now that's my kind of holiday :) Usually I don't eat pączki as they are super sweet and fat, but once a year I always try some.

I see hearts

I know what are you thinking today, commercial holiday is peeking from every corner with red hearts and cheap chocolate. For me Valentine's didn't go as expected, and I had only a short amount of time with my love. I think we will celebrate properly at the weekend, when work won't be in the way.

I took a classic romantic attire, but I couldn't resist adding a little twist :) this bag is one of two I've been painting last week. Showing some of my interest of anatomy while keeping it romantic is something I like :)

I also wear today H&M dress which I thrifted, Papercats corset and necklace which I got at Alterfair.

 I made mini bath bombs with recipe from here. I also printed a label of my idea to make a jar more fancy. Making you own cosmetics turns out to be so much fun. I think my love liked it :)
