Flower crown

Hi guys! Feeling the spring I got inspired and decided to try making my own rose crown. I used a ribbon to make those little fake roses and attached them to a headband with jewellery glue. Since I've never done something like this before, it doesn't look very realistic. Trust me, it just looks good on the photos ;) Anyway it's enough for me and I can't wait to wear it in public.

I see hearts

I know what are you thinking today, commercial holiday is peeking from every corner with red hearts and cheap chocolate. For me Valentine's didn't go as expected, and I had only a short amount of time with my love. I think we will celebrate properly at the weekend, when work won't be in the way.

I took a classic romantic attire, but I couldn't resist adding a little twist :) this bag is one of two I've been painting last week. Showing some of my interest of anatomy while keeping it romantic is something I like :)
I also wear today H&M dress which I thrifted, Papercats corset and necklace which I got at Alterfair.

I made mini bath bombs with recipe from here. I also printed a label of my idea to make a jar more fancy. Making you own cosmetics turns out to be so much fun. I think my love liked it :)

In case you need some love today, I give it to you! ❤️️

Melancholy spirit

The autumn melancholy is starting to pick me up it seems. I lack the energy and I was falling asleep in today's class. The work is building up already and I feel bad that I can't push myself to work as hard as I should... But at least the artwork themes are mostly fun and I enjoy seeing my progress in using computer programs. I always like to have evidence of a job done, doing something in repeat frustrates me.

On the other topic, I am wearing today my new tunic/ dress. I bought it in low price and it got me immediately. It's made of very soft, stretching material, and the asymmetrical hemline adds interesting shape to the whole outfit. I think it would look good also with leggings.

Tunic is from New Look and garter is handmade.

The garter I made myself. I am really into this kind of accessories right now.

The lines are crossing

Time is going fast since last week. The new academic year is just around the corner. I try to stay prepared. Once again I'm waiting for the unknown; long story short, I changed my learning place and now I'm studying graphic design. I have big expectations, but we will se how it goes.
Today I went with my family to the old town, before the weather becomes cool. We went to eat belgian fries in a bar and see the illuminated fountains.
Dress: H&M (modified) / harness: diy / shoes: Vagabond / cardigan: from my mum's shop (made in Italy)
Today I felt like wearing my dress with longer back and giant cross earrings. My makeup was just a simple eyeliner look which I seem to wear ofter lately. I think it suits more modern looks.

How do you spend the last days of summer?

XXI

Yesterday I celebrated anniversary of my arrival to human world. Doesn't feel any different to be a one year older. Well, at least for now, since the number isn't big enough to scare me yet.

I celebrated this day with my closest ones. Everything was great, we had a sushi feast and my beloved made a cream pie with jelly. I received a pair of sunglasses and a ticket for a concert I planned to see in autumn. Now it's official, I'm coming with my dad to see The Cure. Originally, I know the band thanks to him, so I'm pretty excited to return to my early teenage memories connected with it.

Outfit for a dinner included: dress: Topshop / wreath: from Greece / harness: DIY

Me with my beautiful mum. She arrived to a dinner straight from an airport!

Accessory crafts

Believe or not, it's a long time since I first thought about making my own jewellery. But I was unsure how to start, where to get materials from. Recently I have found some felt I purchased a few years ago with intention to make pins. It seemed like good idea to finally use it. So I created a few pieces of cute accessory.

First is this moon hair clip I painted.

I used the same design for necklace. I like how realistic the moon looks against black

There are also glitter bat clips!
